Check in & Check Out Times

We will be available to welcome guests between 4pm and 9pm.

Earlier or later arrivals may be possible by prior arrangement – please contact us to discuss.

In the event of traffic problems that may delay your planned arrival we would appreciate a call so we are aware of a later check-in.

We would ask guests to check-out by 11am please so that we can service the rooms. Later check-outs can only be accommodated if the room is not required the next day.

Booking Deposit

A deposit of £50 per room is due on confirmation of the booking with the balance payable on check-out. This deposit is non refundable. Where a booking is cancelled but rebooked for alternate dates the deposit is transferable to the new booking. No further cancellation charges will apply. Bookings made through other websites may have different booking conditions and cancellation charges.

Booking

For all bookings (whether via this website, through agents such as Booking.com or Expedia or by way of telephone enquiries) a valid credit or debit card is required to secure the room.  In the event that the card details provided can not  be verified we will attempt to contact the booker to check the details – it is therefore important that contact details (e-mail or telephone) are correct.  If we are unable to get in touch and verify the card details then the booking may be cancelled and the room remarketed.

Cancellations

If the booking is cancelled 3 or more days before arrival then a charge equal to £50 per room booked will be made.

If the booking is cancelled less than 3 days before arrival then a charge equal to the first night of the stay will be made.

If the booking is reduced after the arrival date then the full cost of the original booking duration is charged

Covid Cancellations

In the event that government (UK or Welsh) restrictions are imposed as a result of Covid, that prohibit travel or force the Ffarm to temporarily close to certain guests then deposits will be refunded in full for any booking affected by such restrictions and no cancellation charges will be made.

If a booking must be cancelled at short notice due to a positive Covid PCR test of the booker or one of their party, then no cancellation charge will be made and the deposit refunded on provision of proof of the test result.

No Shows

In the event of a no show (where no check-in occurs on the scheduled day of arrival) then the booking is voided and the full cost of the original booking is charged. Please note that the Ffarm does not have 24hr reception and check-ins must be between 4pm and 9pm unless otherwise notified and agreed with the Ffarm.

Pets

We regret that we can not accept pets in the rooms.

No Smoking Policy

THE FFARM IS A NO SMOKING ESTABLISHMENT – SMOKING (OR VAPING) INSIDE THE BUILDING IS PROHIBITED.

An additional charge of £50 will be made in the event that additional room cleaning is required as a result of guests breaching the No Smoking Policy.

An additional £50 charge will be made in the event that a guest triggers the Smoke alarm by breaching the No Smoking Policy.

Services

Ffarm Country House is located in rural North Wales and relies on the utility providers for the supply of water and electricity. In the event of a temporary failure of these services we will do everything reasonably possible to continue to serve our guests but certain services may need to be limited or curtailed at short notice.

The Ffarm provides free wi-fi to our guests but can not take responsibility of the compatibility of the guests devices and the network at the Ffarm. Please note that devices set to high security settings may not choose to connect to the Ffarm wi-fi. The Ffarm does not guarantee upload or download speed and can not guarantee a connection where broadband services are interrupted.

The mobile phone coverage for BT, O2 and Vodafone is good at the Ffarm with an excellent 3g service and a good 4g service available in most parts of the building (subject to the shielding of the walls). The service in the gardens is unobstructed. EE and Orange service is better the closer to the coast and population you get. We are happy to lend our landline phones to our guests for individual UK domestic calls if required.

Food & Drink

You may consume food and drink purchased off premises in your room provided special care is taken to avoid spills or stains to the bed linen, towels or carpets or any other damage to the room. Guests will be liable for the insurance excess (up to £250) for damage resulting from the consumption of food or drink including take-aways etc although Ffarm Country House will take all reasonable endeavours to minimise any resulting remedial costs.

A corkage fee of £5 per bottle of wine or £1 per pint of beer, cider or lager will be charged for alcohol purchased off premises and consumed in the public areas (drawing room, hall, snooker room or dining room). The corkage charge for spirits will be at the discretion of the owners.

If guests wish to have the convenience of the dining room for take-aways it is requested that permission is sought from the owners in advance and a table will be set aside for your use along with plates cutlery and napkins – there will be no charge for this service. Guests are requested not to disturb the table settings that may have been laid for breakfast by taking individual items from tables the night before. As an incentive for consideration to ourselves and others a £10 fine will apply to those guests who cause significant disruption to the smooth running of the Ffarm through such actions.

The Regrettable Stuff

We do our very best to make sure there are provisions in your room (tea, coffee, milks, biscuits etc) plus various toiletries to make your stay with us comfortable. Such items are provided only for your use during your stay and we respectively request that items that you do not wish to use during your stay are left in the room. Unusual and excessive apparent consumption of items may incur additional charges at the discretion of the owners. Removal or unused items from the Ffarm will be considered as theft. Items such as robes, towels, flannels and the dispensers for body wash, shampoo, bath soak etc are the property of Ffarm Country House and their removal from the Ffarm will be considered as theft. The owners reserve the right to pass on any guest personal information to the relevant authorities in the prosecution of any suspected criminal activity.
